Activities in the surroundings (next) / You can also go fishing in the river Aubance (1km) or in ponds. The river Loire is only 7km away. There are also many amusement parks for children and theme parks, such as the Puy du Fou (a medieval theme park, 1h30) or the Futuroscope (a very popular theme park presenting moving cinema and other visual technologies, 2h), and places to visit, for instance the château of Brissac-Quincé, the zoo of Doué-la-Fontaine, wine cellars, mushroom caves and the typical cave dwellings called “troglodytes”, as well as the Tank Museum and the famous horse-riding school “Cadre Noir” of Saumur.
