History / The existence of the place “La Haute Ronde” is tracked back in the dictionnary of Célestin Port, an archivist and historian of the 19th century who wrote mainly about the History of Anjou. Both houses are located on a very ancient quarry, which gives to the place a sort of simililarity to the cave dwellings which are typical in this area. Moreover, the rumour has it that some fightings would have taken place in “La Haute Ronde” during the rebellion of Anjou around 1800, as a circular pit dated from this period has been found...
